• Messages you send to the Kaku AI assistant
• SMS messages exchanged between the Kaku AI and your friends during event coordination
• Conversation history and context

Plan Details

Information about the events you coordinate, including:

• Event type, dates, and times
• Location preferences
• Participant availability and preferences
• Plan status (coordinating, confirmed, cancelled)

Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect device type, operating system version, and general usage analytics to improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's event coordination features
• Send SMS messages to your friends on your behalf for event coordination
• Process conversations through our AI system to generate helpful responses and coordinate plans
• Authenticate your account and maintain security
• Improve and optimize the App's performance and features

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Kaku:

Supabase

We use Supabase for user authentication and database storage. Your account information, contacts, and plan data are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Anthropic (Claude AI)

We use Anthropic's Claude AI to power the Kaku assistant. Your messages and conversation context are sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. Twilio

We use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages for event coordination. Phone numbers and message content are transmitted through Twilio's messaging platform. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

4. Mobile Information and SMS Data

Phone numbers and SMS message content collected through our service are used solely for the purpose of event coordination as described in this Privacy Policy. This data is not used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Kaku service.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With third-party service providers as described in Section 3, solely to operate the App
• To comply with legal obligations if required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect rights and safety if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kaku, our users, or others

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Specifically:

• Conversation and message data is retained for up to 12 months after the associated plan is completed or cancelled
• Contact information for friends is retained while your account is active

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
